How much does a professional headshot cost?

A session fee is $14.99 per person. Join our Perks Club for $39.99 (two-year membership) and enjoy unlimited free session fees.

Digital image options are available to fit your needs. One digital image is $59.99, three digital images are $79.99, and a full digital album is $179.99. Special discounts for business headshots are available throughout the year.

We also offer Afterpay so you can enjoy your session today and pay over time in four interest-free payments.

How long do headshot photoshoots take?

Our standard sessions last about 45 minutes, including 15 minutes in the camera room.

Do’s and Don’ts for Headshots?

Keep your look polished and natural. Neat hair and light, natural makeup are recommended. If you’re planning a haircut, schedule it a few days to a week in advance so you feel confident in your style.

Choose an outfit that reflects your profession and personality. Blazers, button-downs, tailored pants, and suits are timeless options. Avoid overly busy patterns or distracting details, and make sure clothing is clean and lint-free.

Keep accessories simple and work-appropriate. Subtle jewelry like small earrings, necklaces, or watches can enhance your look, while bold or oversized pieces may distract from your face.

How do I access the digital images I purchased?

If you purchased digital images at your photo session, they will be delivered to your Shutterfly account. Shortly after your session, you will receive an email from JCPenney Portraits that your images are available to claim online.

If you did not purchase digital images at your photo session or had an outdoor session, your digital album will be available on MyCollection by Lifetouch where you can view your images and shop personalized photo products. If you purchase digital images from MyCollection, they will be delivered to your Shutterfly account.

How soon can I get my JCPenney Portraits products?

Your personalized photo products will typically ship to your address within 14 business days after your visit.
