A session fee is $14.99 per person. Upgrade to an extended session for an additional $24.99 to enjoy extra time in front of the camera. Join our Perks Club for $39.99 (two-year membership) and enjoy unlimited free session fees.

Personalized products and digital images are available for purchase after your session. Digital images start at $59.99. Choose from curated product bundles, wall art, and gifts designed to beautifully showcase your grad photos.

We also offer Afterpay so you can enjoy your session today and pay over time in four interest-free payments.

As a general rule, schedule your graduation pictures 1-2 months before graduation. This gives you plenty of time to create personalized graduation announcements and invitations right after your JCPenney Portraits session and send them before the big day.

Spring graduates: We recommend scheduling your graduation photoshoot in March or April.

Winter graduates: We recommend scheduling your graduation photoshoot in October or November.

Our standard sessions last about 45 minutes, including 15 minutes in the camera room.

Upgrade to an extended session to enjoy 30 minutes of camera time for more variety and poses.

Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident during your session. Your outfit should complement your cap & gown, so we recommend avoiding busy patterns, bright colors, large logos, and bulky or stiff fabrics that can distract from your graduation pictures.

Instead, choose classic, semi-formal styles that photograph well, like fitted dresses, blouses, white button-up shirts, or tailored pants. Simple necklines and lightweight fabrics tend to look best under a graduation gown, while hoodies, oversized collars, and heavily textured pieces can create unwanted bulk. To create a polished look, avoid wearing clothing that closely matches the color of your cap and gown.

Important note: clothing must not be transparent and undergarments must not be visible.

If you purchased digital images at your photo session, they will be delivered to your Shutterfly account. Shortly after your session, you will receive an email from JCPenney Portraits that your images are available to claim online.

If you did not purchase digital images at your photo session or had an outdoor session, your digital album will be available on MyCollection by Lifetouch where you can view your images and shop personalized photo products. If you purchase digital images from MyCollection, they will be delivered to your Shutterfly account.

Your personalized photo products will typically ship to your address within 14 business days after your visit.
