Newborn photography sessions (0-6 weeks) focus on your baby’s earliest days, capturing every tiny feature and sweet expression in a calm, safe environment. All newborn sessions are booked as an extended session to allow extra time for soothing, posing, and capturing a variety of looks.

Baby photography sessions (7+ weeks) celebrate every stage of your baby’s first year, like tummy time at 3 months, sitting at 6 months, standing at 9 months, and first birthday smiles.

How much do baby photographers cost?

A session fee is $14.99 per person. An additional $24.99 extended session fee applies to newborn sessions (0-6 weeks) for extra time in the camera room. Baby sessions (7+ weeks) can also be upgraded to an extended session. Join our Perks Club for $39.99 (two-year membership) and enjoy unlimited free session fees.

Personalized products and digital images are available for purchase after your session. Digital images start at $59.99. Choose from curated product bundles, wall art, and gifts designed to beautifully showcase your baby portraits.

We also offer Afterpay so you can enjoy your session today and pay over time in four interest-free payments.

When should newborn pictures be taken?

Newborn photos are best taken within the first two weeks after birth, when babies tend to be sleepier and more relaxed for posing. As babies grow through 3-6 weeks, they become more alert and expressive, creating opportunities to capture eye contact and personality. Whatever stage you choose, our photographers are here to document your little one with care and expertise. Newborn sessions are available for babies 0-6 weeks.

We also offer milestone photography to celebrate your baby’s first-year moments, like tummy time at 3 months, sitting at 6 months, standing at 9 months, and first birthday smiles. Baby sessions are available for babies 7+ weeks.

How long do JCPenney Portraits baby photoshoots take?

Our standard sessions last about 45 minutes, including 15 minutes in the camera room.

Upgrade to an extended session to enjoy 30 minutes of camera time for soothing, posing, and capturing a variety of looks. All newborn sessions are booked as an extended session.

How do I access the digital images I purchased?

If you purchased digital images at your photo session, they will be delivered to your Shutterfly account. Shortly after your session, you will receive an email from JCPenney Portraits that your images are available to claim online.

If you did not purchase digital images at your photo session or had an outdoor session, your digital album will be available on MyCollection by Lifetouch where you can view your images and shop personalized photo products. If you purchase digital images from MyCollection, they will be delivered to your Shutterfly account.

How soon can I get my JCPenney Portraits products?

Your personalized photo products will typically ship to your address within 14 business days after your visit.
